Yesterday was 12th April 2009.
Exactly a year ago on 12th April 2008, TK Band lost her title as the BDB to Deyi. It was my first time rendering assistance to another CCA, and I hoped that TK Band retained her title as the BDB. But it didn't happen despite the huge amount of effort the Band, the alumni and us, the NCC guys have put it.
It was really painful to hear that Deyi had actually got the BDB 2008. It was also my first time my tears flowed losing a competition. I didn't even tear when NCC Sea won the SeaCom for like 5 years consecutively. But I guess we did try our best.
And I am certain that next year, TK Band will snatch back what is rightfully theirs and show that this loss has actually made them stronger. And yes, wherever the SYF 2010, will be held, I will find time to come down see how TK Band blaze that field.
