It was supposed to be just one more day before I could catch up on my sleep. But no, they just had to hold Biology lectures and Chemistry tutorial next week. I just realised that my sleeping time changed from 9PM to 12AM. That's how busy I am. I need to juggle between schoolwork and MCS. Honestly, I didn't expect to land myself in EXCO. I wasn't sure what made me do it, but I'm loving it (: Except that there's Temasek Nite on 6th August (1 day more to my birthday hint hint) and we need to get some things sort out.

I seriously need to buck up on Economics and GP. My GP sucks big time because both papers can drain you mentally. Seriously. And I miss writing narratives :( Economics seems to be a little fun, but just like Geography, it's difficult to pen down the answers. Hamizan, you need to buck up if you want to see the results. Now, I think the holidays are not holidays anymore.

A week has passed since the last post. Blame it on the super busy life that I have now. Luckily this week marks the end of Term 2. I seriously need to catch up on those nights that I couldn't sleep. Bad thing is, those in primary and secondary school can throw their books aside for a whole month and party. Sadly, not for us JC students. I can see that the lecture notes will be my company throughout the nights of revision. I must seriously do well for JCTs, or I won't be able to get my Nintendo DS.

I think I have new addictions every now and then. I had watched a dozens of anime. Naruto and Bleach helped to keep me company at night after the Os. Now, it's Pokemon. I didn't how but it suddenly struck in me that I had to watch Pokemon. Random right? I know. Another random thing. I really missed kayaking. It's been like almost 2 years since I last kayaked properly. I really miss the yellow kayak that we rode for 1 star kayaking and the dancer kayak with the skirt for 2 star. I miss doing capsize drill even though I hated it because the seawater would just sting my nose. I miss becoming the buoy for kayaking training for SEACOM preparation. Oh ya, I HATED the kayaking expedition training we had in Sec 3. We had to kayak freaking far and my elbow brushed against that rough surface made up of fibre glass and the skin just had to peel off. Hurts damn badly and it left a damn scar on my elbow.

Off to GPP.

(edited) I just realised that there's A LOT of things to study for JCTs.
Mathematics - Everything excluding composition function.
Chemistry - Everything and I think Organic Chem is included.
Biology - Everything including Organisation and Control of Eukaryotic Genome.
Economics - Everything including price elasticity of demand and supply.

URGHH.

Today was a very bad day. I slept at 12AM, trying to help out with the GPP which have been rejected up till today. I don't know what he's seriously thinking. Woke up with this tired feeling and dragged myself to school. Maths lecture was boring and I dozed off towards the end of the lecture. Double GP just had to make it worse. I wanted to just put my head on the table and sleep. But of course I didn't want trouble.

Other the other hand, we got back our Chemistry test and I am quite satisfied with my result, judging by the fact I left 3 MCQs blank. And this week is the second last week of Term 2 which means holidays in about a week time and this mean mug for JCTs. I think studying throughout the night is productive and I am going to do it again.

Let me relate you a story.


Yesterday, I wanted to try a new piece on my electone because I was bored playing the same old pieces everyday. So, I pulled out some random piece that I have not touched before from my file. Then, I tried to work out the first page. Yes, just the first page. I thought it was easy so I tried playing it with the rhythm. After 1 hour, I got stuck at the 6th bar because I played the bar with bounce and it didn't go well with the rhythm so, I gave up. When I wanted to practise today, I saw 'no bounce' above the 6th bar. How stupid right?

And the long awaiting day has finally arrived. After so long, the official submission for PI is just tomorrow and it calls for a celebration because I think all of the J1s have lost so many brain cells just to come up with a PI that is supposedly to be EE after countless rejects by respective tutors. At least GPP wouldn't be so bad since the workload is divided among the members although we're sort of irritated because our GPP have been rejected like 3 times already.
