2 papers are over but I'll touch on that later. Yesterday, we had open house and sadly, the only date available for us was on yesterday. So when my family was busy preparing for the open house, I was in the room with my notes in front of me. I didn't know what to start with, so I figured I finished recapping through Photosynthesis and Respiration. And just when I was about to start on DNA and Genomics, people start strolling in. But I still continued to mug till O&C which I managed to complete like at 10PM. I really wondered why I could still study despite the unusually high noise level in the house.
Biology was okay. Mugging till late at night really pays off. I mean, the essay questions were like straight from the notes. The moment I saw sickle cell anaemia, I immediately did the question. I was just stuck at part b when the whole comparison didn't come up in my brain. And there was this damn question on mitosis in the structured questions. I was staring at the graph for a very long time before I decided to skip that question. I felt that the graph didn't show any evidence about mitosis at all. And I almost got hemagglutinin and neuraminidase mixed up. Thank god I didn't. And they even asked what is meant by gene mutation. My genetic diagram was horribly messed up and I apologise to whoever is marking that question. I can safely say my MCQ is a goner. I totally forgotten that the inside of the liposome is actually an aqueous environment and that introns are spliced out, so they don't affect the protein formed. Forget Biology. I'm hoping for a C.
GP was terrible. Just the comprehension part. I didn't understand what the passages actually meant, though it was in plain English. I won't expect much from the comprehension part. And my essay was the longest one that I ever written, in neat and beautiful handwriting. Hahas. I love my handwriting very much. Mrs Chen told me that the Cambridge examiners would love marking my papers.
Economics is tomorrow and I'm hoping the case study won't be on Inflation. Otherwise, I'm finished.
Heh.
