In just about an hour time, 2009 will officially come to an end. Yup, 2009 was indeed a darn good year and this could easily be a year I can never forget. And of course, I hope 2010 would be as good, if not better than 2009.

As I said, 2009 has been a awesome year. At the start of year, I was suffering from a nervous 'breakdown', waiting for the release of the O level results. Although wait was unbearable, thank god it turn out fine. School started and the stress and pressure began to sat in. First year in TJC turned out really good. Orientation was definitely unforgettable - OG 16 ♥. At the start, I missed TK so much but somehow, I got over it. And not forgetting my horrible Mid-Year results and my unexpected acceptance into MCS EXCO. AND OF COURSE, THAT DAMN PROJECT WORK! Promos turn out fine although I was a tad disappointed for not being able to apply for H3 Chemistry.

That pretty sum up 2009 for me in a really short paragraph. I refuse to kill any more brain cells trying to recall every single detail and putting them in proper sentences (:

Anyway, I hope 2010 will turn out fine seeing that I'm taking my A levels and yeah, the stress will definitely start to set in soon.

Unfortunately, I have not thought of my New Year's resolutions just yet but I shall think about it soon.

Just in time to watch the Countdown :)

Happy New Year people!

Till then.

I decided to scrape the earlier post and write a proper one because I guess I wasn't in the right state of mind judging by the fact that I typed out that post at such an unearthly time. So yeah, I guess you can sort of call it like an update.

Anyway, it has already been 3 days since Singapore Idol ended. Yet, the incessant ramblings about who should win Idol is still going on. Obviously, it isn't something pleasing to the eyes if you would ask. People are still skeptical about Sezairi becoming the 3rd Singapore Idol and of course, there are bound to be unhappy viewers/supporters who have flooded Facebook groups, Singapore Idol forums etc with snide remarks. I've read them and yes, there indeed nasty. I really can't imagine Sezairi reading them himself.

Please, those snide comments are totally uncalled for. It's not like as if they would instantly make Sylvia the Idol wouldn't it? Seriously, what had happened to 'regardless of race, language or religion?' Honestly, I thought Sezairi did a better performance than Sylvia. I felt that his performance was much more convincing and that was enough to make me vote for him. I'm not saying that Sylvia's performance was bad. I love her rendition of Mercy.

Well people, I guess we should grow up and look ahead right? If you look at it, both of them did win something. And as civilised people, the most sensible way to support your favourites is to buy their albums when they are released right?

I bet they won't be reading this, but good luck to Sezairi and Sylvia for their future endeavours! (Thought I'd just end this of properly)

Oh, a post will be coming up tomorrow. Stay tune (:

As promised, I shall update on this beautiful Saturday morning. Though I am pretty certain that I will be taking quite some time since I need to bear the pain of my toothache. But nonetheless, I will make sure that I will complete this post no matter what.

Okay, let's see what I can blog about.
1. Electone Marathon on 5th December.
2. MCS Farewell BBQ.
3. Trip to KL.

So on the 5th of December(quite long ago eh), I had this Electone marathon thing at Tampines Mall. Usually I am fine performing, even with the unusually large crowd entering Yamaha. But, on that day, I was feeling jittery all of over. Perhaps, for one, I was playing two songs and two, I could not refer to any scores. So, I made sure I remembered my pieces very well but, exactly before my turn, I forgot how to play the opening of one of the song and you could not imagine how terrified I am. I just randomly played and it sound alright since not many people know the song. You can watch the video on Facebook if you want to.
Oh, they gave away certificates for performing and I think they should do it for every performance to attract more people to play. Otherwise, it would be the same ole' people every performance.

And on the 10th of December, we had a MCS farewell BBQ at Pasir Ris park and coincidentally, the BBQ was pit number 21 which was the same as our CG BBQ. The food came a little late but it was alright. We didn't expect a huge turnout and I was kind of afraid that the food was not enough to go around. Had loads and loads of fun and it was fun standing in front of the BBQ pit again. This time, I was 'brave' enough to pick up the charcoal with my hands and remembered not to wipe my hands on my face/shirt/shorts. Left at 8.30-ish, went home at KO-ed instantly.

On the 12th to 14th December, my family went to KL (yet for the nth number of times). And if you had read my previous post, my strategy worked completely. For the whole journey there, I slept like 9/10 of the time. The only time I remembered waking up was to pray and eat breakfast. The hotel was awesome and it looked nice, since it just opened in March. But the only misgiving was that we had to wait for quite a while before we got our room. Yes, only one room for the five of us. The toilet was kind of cool though. And at Petaling Street, we (my brother and I) bought like lots of clothings. Okay, maybe not that much but it was more that what we used to buy on our previous trip.

And for every KL trip I went, we must go to Genting. I love Genting but I hate to go there during December because it would be so super duper packed that the queues for every single ride would be horrifyingly long. This trip was one of the rare occassion where we took a cable car up to Genting because usually we would drive up. But my dad thought there was some problems with the car, we decided to be on the safe side because we had bad experiences in KL. Anyway, we only took a few rides and ended up playing the games there. And there was this game where you have to shoot at the target using a crossbow gun. Being a marksman (chey chey), I managed to shoot 3 targets and got like a giant tiger plush and 2 teddy bears. For the whole trip there, we got 5 plush toys and they are now happily sitting in my room.

Yay, pretty long post right. I think I am sort of done with what I want to type. Though it seemed a little rushed. In any case, I have been thinking what the number 21 would mean since I have been seeing it for a lot of times already.
1. We were having lunch at the of the stops in KL and we randomly chose a table that could fit the five of us. And the table number was 21.
2. We did not choose the cable car and only took the next one which was available and again, it was cable car number 21.
3. Our room at the hotel was 2221, which of course has the number 21 in it.
4. Both my CG BBQ and MCS farewell BBQ was at pit number 21.

Too much of coincidence eh?

Oh, I changed my phone and I ♥ it so much.

Till then.

PS : See, I kept my promise :D

I promise I will update real soon. And I assure you it would be a long. But, let's just wait alright. Anyway, I'll be off to KL in a few hours time and I won't be back till next week. I wished I could ride a plane and fly there. Driving there isn't that bad right. At least, I can sleep throughout the whole ride and wake up only when we have reached. And that's the reason why I am not sleeping even at this hour; I'm trying to make myself as sleepy as possible. Good strategy eh. Otherwise, I would be wide awake throughout the verrrr long journey. Well, maybe I have my Nintendo DS to keep me company.

Oh gosh. I can't believe I just updated.

Till then (:
